Constant Flux
Utrecht Royal Oak employees Leo Hanifin and Diane Whitehead Lorick are taking part in the group show ‘Constant Flux’ at the Art Effect Gallery in Eastern market Detroit.
The premise behind Constant Flux is to similate growth and change within the gallery. Over a month long period, artists will be given virtually unrestricted access to Art Effect Gallery in order to bring their individual works and spaces to fruition. During that time, the artists are at liberty to add to, take away from, or otherwise alter the gallery space. During July Saturday hours (9-3PM), artists are requested to be on hand, to be “fluxing” their work and/or to discuss their projects with the viewing public. The final day of “Flux” will result in a celebratory reception on Saturday, July 30th from 5:00-11:00PM. The exhibition will continue through the month of August and end on August 31st.
